No more need for multi ply belting

Historically, conveyor belts have been manufactured using two or more plies of fabric that are adhered to each other using inner layers of rubber. When additional rip, tear and impact resistance was required for a more demanding bulk material handling application, the obvious answer seemed to be fitting a belt with even more plies with even thicker covers. Which was proved to be very rarely the best solution. The best solution is to fit belts that are specifically engineered for the purpose, which is the philosophy that X Series is based on.

3 levels of the toughness.
2 carcasses types

Unique weave styles designed especially for your bulk material handling needs.

  • X Series Straight-Warp carcass

    Straight-Warp

Our parallel planes reinforce like the multiple plies of traditional belts but without the crimping that weakens and stretches the yarn. Our binder is a built-in breaker to resist impacts and punctures.

  • X Series Straight-Warp carcass

    Dual-Crimp

The fabric construction and treatment process result in enhanced resistance to edge ravel, moisture, mildew and acid mine water.

Carcass

Revolutionary straight-warp weave carcass

UsFlex stands apart from the competition. We use heavyweight straight yarns in parallel planes – lengthwise and crosswise – locked together with a unique binder to concentrate belt strength. Our parallel planes reinforce like the multiple plies of traditional belts but without the crimping that weakens and stretches the yarn. Our binder is a built-in breaker to resist impacts and punctures.

  • Up to 3150 N/mm (2000 PIW)
  • Revolutionary Straight-Warp conveyor belt
  • up to 2x greater rip resistance

What engineers say about X Series

We are famous for manufacturing the longest lasting conveyor belts in the world, but we don’t want you to simply take our word for it. Please check out some real-life case studies below.

X Series Conveyor Belts are produced in Europe and US

The longest lasting conveyor belts in the world made in North America and EU

We have invested more than $100 MM in our North American plants, including boasting the longest press in the world, a state of the art pressure equalizer that allows an even pressure applied to the entire belt vs. older technology. We are really proud of our new calender machine from Germany that has the latest hard pressure rollers to finish and smooth our carcass and cover compounds.
